Hey there!

Here are two crafts that I made out of one framed lemon print and one square sign from the Dollar Tree.

Here are the items you need for the two crafts

• lemon print frame from the Dollar Tree
• small square decor sign
• mod podge
• sponge brush
• chalk paint
• scissors
• square decor block
• a small picture frame of your choice

Let’s get started!

Take your square sign and tape off the stud decor.

Paint the sign part with your chalk paint.  I used white and I did 3 coats.  Letting it dry between coats.

While the paint is drying I took the picture frame and removed it from the package.

Remove the print from the frame.

Cut the two small lemons from the print.

This is what it should look like.

I took some mod podge and paint the back of the lemons.

Apply the mod podged lemon to the painted square.

Placing it the way you want it.  After you have it in place apply more mod podge to the top of the lemon and square.  Make sure you stay in one direction painting.  You want the brush marks to be even and going into one direction.

Let that dry.  When dry remove the tape for the stud decor.  The mod podge will dry clear.  If you get it on the burlap it will dry clear.

And that’s it.  Isn’t it a cute little decor piece?

The next little craft with the left over lemon print piece.  I cut the piece into a square and placed it in a picture frame.  That’s it.

It was fun putting these little crafts together.  Very simple and inexpensive to make.

I hope I have given you some inspiration to go out to your Dollar Tree and find the supplies to make these two items for yourself.  Our store had a couple different prints to choose from.  I liked the lemon one personally.
