Are you ready to decorate your dining area for Fall? Today I’ve gathered up all of the items I will be using in our dining room, from foliage to napkins I have it all to share!
The inspiration for the room came from the DIY canvas project I shared earlier this month.

First step – Foliage
I started out by gathering the foliage to place in the room. I prefer faux foliage, while it can be beautiful to bring outside in, I love the fact I can decorate early and it stays pretty all season long. And now I have a great idea to store my Fall foliage it doesn’t take much space to store.

Next step – Pumpkins and Lanterns
Another faux decoration I use are my pumpkins. There are so many styles, colors and shapes offered in faux pumpkins now. And again, you can decorate early in the season and not worry about spoilage. The pumpkins I will be styling in the dining room had to be modified to work in my design, I painted them and now are ready to use. I remember my two copper lanterns, so I brought them down from the attic and cleaned them to use.

Finally – The Place Setting
This is the fun part. Gathering up all the pretty items to set the table. With the color theme in placed I pulled out all the items I had on hand and purchased a few to finish the look I planned.
