When the seasons changes so does my home’s décor. It’s so exciting to change the colors and decorations when a new season arrives. Today along with my friends, Corine Junk to Gems and Tammy Patina and Paint, we are sharing our Fall inspiration for our family rooms, with the rest of the week we will share how we decorate our Family/Living rooms for Fall. At the bottom of my page I will have links for both Tammy and Corine family room’s inspiration.
Continuing our Decorate with us | Fall Series, we are bringing you into our homes as we decorate for Fall! Welcome to Decorate With Us | Fall Family Room. In the last two weeks we have shared how we decorate our kitchen and entryway, this week is the family/living room.

Our family room is normally decorated in blues, during the Fall season I like to incorporate the warmth of Fall with color and adding a lot of textures. For fun, let’s go in years past to view how I decorated our family room for Fall.

2018
2018 color palette was blush and orange. I hopped on the blush band wagon that Fall season. 🙂
2019
2019 color palette was orange, yellow and green. A cheery basic Fall colorful room.
2020
2020 color palette was navy and burnt orange. Love the room and the colors!
So what color palette will I be styling our family room this Fall season? I found a canvas print that gave me the inspiration for the family room. It has a variety of Fall colors and even a touch of blue to boot!
This was such an easy color palette to work with, although I did have to paint several of my pumpkins. The scenery gives the feeling Fall brings, a brisk Fall breeze in the air and the calming sound of leaves rustling in the wind. Did you feel it? I know, it’s 90 degrees outside at the moment, but a girl can work past that!! 🙂
Besides the blue, I will be adding mustard yellow, brown shades, burnt orange, wine and touches of the leopard print. You might of figured that since I shared my DIY vertical Fall garland!
If you missed that tutorial you can still go view that here DOLLAR TREE WOODEN PUMPKIN GARLAND.
You can count on me changing out my throw pillows. I shared a couple pillow covers already for the room, here is the photo just in case you missed it.
If you want some inspiration on how to add Fall touches to your home, get ready, I am going to be sharing a lot of Fall decorating in the family room this week. Maybe there will be something you will want to add to your home’s décor this season.

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Love your inspiration board. I look forward to seeing it all in your home!
Thanks Cindy. So happy you stopped by. Have a wonderful day!
I am loving your ideas for your family room. Can’t wait to see it done.
Thanks Corine. It’s always fun looking for new home décor for the season.
Pinned it! It is turning much cooler here in central Indiana (was 59 earlier this morning) and some leaves are already starting to fall. I love that print with the trees, aspen or birch? Your 2020 palette was very pretty. Have a good week!
Hey Donna! Thanks for stopping by. It is getting a little cooler here as well.
Terrie I love all of you color choices for your room! And that print is absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait to see your family room when it’s finished. What a fun week!
Thanks Tammy. I am looking forward to bring my decorations to reality. Things will probably change, like they normally do, but the most part I hope it stays pretty close to my inspirational plans.
