FALL KITCHEN NOOK IDEAS

Welcome back or welcome to Decorate with Me Fall Season 2025.  This week we are going to be in the kitchen, first up the kitchen nook.

Today, I have a lot of spaces to share with you, if you like to watch my decorating in a video I have that up on my Facebook page and my YouTube channel.

I am so excited to share the corner of the nook where my bench and DIY window frame is placed, the DIY cutting board wall rack, (which will be my very first season to decorate it) and my kitchen table.  I have so much to share with you let’s dive right into it.

Starting off by placing a DIY tall branch in a vase on the bench.  I shared two years how I made the Fall Branch.

This year I took all the leaves off and painted them khaki and brown.  I even placed Dollar Tree acorns on the branch as well.

The last addition to the space is my DIY pumpkin window charm (I shared how to make that on my Facebook page).

Now moving over to my cutting board wall rack.  I built this late spring this year.

To the first shelf, I placed a Pumpkin pie plaque, I thought the cream frame would pop against the functional grey beadboard.  I bought this a long time ago in Big Lots.  Unfortunately, they do not have them in stock.

To the other side of the shelf, I placed a black slate board and a wooden pumpkin plaque I purchased a couple of years ago in Kirkland’s.  (Not available in the stores).

Onto the next shelf, adding a large round cutting board in the center, next to that I added a lighter square cutting board for contrast.  To the other side I am placing this cute acorn print I found on Amazon.  It is one print from a Fall 8×10 Gallery Set.  I placed it in a frame I purchased in Hobby Lobby.  The picture frame brings the eye from the top shelf with the cream frame to this shelf with the different color striped frame.  The last addition to the shelf is a linen and burnt orange plaid kitchen towel draped over one of the support strips.

Moving on to the larger space of the unit.  Sitting a large platter to bring the cream to this shelf as well, adding two cutting boards to each side with a thin small vase to the other side of the shelf with Hobby Lobby fall leave bundle tucked inside.

To the last shelf I am placing the two boards back to the shelf as before but placing my DIY Maple Leaf board with it.

Bringing back the little wooden stool, black vase and some fall twigs to finish the corner.

The last to decorate the kitchen table.  Keeping it simple since there are so many busy items surrounding it.  I am placing a vase and 3 faux heather bushes.  To each place setting I placed my Dollar Tree wicker round placemats and napkins tucked inside my DIY raffia napkin rings.

This will wrap up my decorating for today, come back tomorrow when I decorate the hutch to finish the kitchen nook.

I hope you were inspired by how I styled part of our kitchen nook for fall.  You will find this fall season I will be changing a lot of the things I have to refresh them for this year’s decorations.

  1. I love your neutral Fall look – very soothing. Now if the weather would just ease up! I placed a few things out, hoping to get myself in a Fall state of mind. (:
