Hey there! Have you changed your home’s décor because of one inspiring piece? For my inspired push was the bifold door change earlier this week.

I made a few changes to the back wall of the Family room, I guess I’m on a roll giving our home a refresh.
You might of caught my first change earlier this week when I changed the look of the bifold door.
If you haven’t read the changes I made to the door, you can click here to catch up → NEW TAKE ON AN OLD DOOR.
The combination of wood and black metal creates an unique and interesting look to the space.
Placing the revamped ficus tree brings color and texture to the space.
Since the back wall is mostly neutral, I added a colorful framed print to the side of the mirror. How easy it will be to change the style, color and theme of the space by simply replacing the print.
Love the bright blues and greens for the summer months.
I have always wanted to fill in the gap between the ladder and the dresser.

Keeping the design simple will keep the wall from looking busy.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Beautiful update Terrie. Love your throw on the ladder and the blue.
The bifold doors are still a great update.
Thanks Cindy. Happy July 4th weekend my friend.
You have such a good eye for layering, textures and color! Enjoy your holiday weekend!
Thank you Donna. You and your family have a safe and fun July 4th.
