Welcome back into our family room!  Today, I am sharing how I decorated our fireplace wall for Christmas.  It’s festive, cute and colorful!

 

After you read and look at the pictures of my fireplace wall go over and check out Tammy and Teresa’s fireplace decorated for Christmas.  I will have their links at the bottom of my page.

As I decorate our home with a new decoration, the nutcrackers, I planned to decorate the fireplace wall with colorful ornaments.  I pictured a castle’s front door with two soldiers standing guard at the doors surrounded by an arch ornament garland.

I gave the Amazon’s tin soldiers a makeover, new pair of paints, some glitter and paint.

I love how they stand strong on each side of the fireplace.

The color ornaments I used were blue, red, green and gold.  I used all different sizes to give a fun look to the garland.

To the mantel, I used several different Christmas trees I had.

I placed the Kirkland’s frame I purchased this year in the center of the mantel.

I can’t forget to mention the star of the room, Mr. Nutcracker.  I purchased most of my nutcrackers this year at Dollar General.

Did you noticed a string of lights sitting on my mantel?  I placed a strand of lights for uplighting.
