We started this room by painting the cabinets.  We used Benjamin Moore Advance, color Powell Gray.  Painted the walls with a custom gray, recycled paint Greensheen, using 1 part Grey Batch and 6 part White Batch.  Changed out the mirror, light fixture, vanity top, faucet, handles and spray painted the hinges silver.

We decided to buy two toilet paper holders, one to hold the toilet paper and one for the hand towel.  To decorate the vanity we added a clear glass soap dispenser, greenery and a silver candleholder.

The back wall of the stool we added peel and stick wallpaper.  To decorate above the toilet we added a floating shelf to the wall, a personalized canvas and a simple trio of succulents.

  1. Wow Terrie this is amazing. Love all the changes especially the back wall. It adds texture and pretty interest.

The paint colors are perfect. Fantastic job!

Never thought of using a toilet paper holder for towels.

    1. Thanks Cindy. The whole room turned out so nice, everything fell into place. Love when that happens. Oh yeah, she didn’t want the round ring that normally goes up on the wall for holding towels. We thought this would look nice. I like the look of it.

  2. Beautiful! Love the color, vanity, wallpaper, decorations, etc, etc.!! I especially like that mirror…looks very glam! Nice job!

    1. Thank you Karolyn. The mirror was up in our bedroom, I am wanting a wooden one, when we started looking for a mirror for her bathroom I thought about mine. Worked out so well. Now I have to find one for my home. ha!

  3. Ah-mazing transformation! Pinned it. Clever idea to use the toilet paper holder for a towel. I like that much better than a towel ring. Well done, ladies!
