Let me share how I decorated the mantel this year for Easter.!! Here is the start to finish step by step on how I decorated the mantel.
I left my doors up on the mantel.
To start the decorating off I added a garland to the mirror. I purchased the garland in Kirkland’s this year.
If you know me by now, you know I love to layer. I added two frames to one side of the mirror. One is a DIY, I purchased a frame from Hobby Lobby and used pink plaid wrapping paper to the frame, isn’t it cute? The bunny frame I purchased from Kirkland’s.
I added two blush glass vases to the mantel with two pink stems on each side of the mirror. The vases I purchased 4 years ago on a clearance shelf in Kirkland’s and the flowers I purchased in Hobby Lobby.
Giving some ambiance to the mantel, I added my thrift store brass candlesticks placing Dollar Tree battery operated pillar candles to the candlesticks. I placed three together at each end of the mantel with two in the center to balance everything out.
More greenery and flowers were added to the mantel to keep the eye flowing from the mirror to the mantel.
The last addition to the mantel was the little bunnies. I found the larger bunnies on Amazon a couple years ago, the little one I purchased in Hobby Lobby.
Going down to the hearth, I added my ceramic bunny I made several years when I use to do a ceramic class, I added it next to a tall vase with pretty blush stems and greenery.
I had a lot of fun creating the mantel and hearth this Easter season.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Love this mantel, it’s so pretty and light. The layered variety of textures is beautiful and rather refreshing. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Olivia.
Terrie, this is amazingly beautiful! You have a rare talent for decorating flair. I love viewing your work.
Awe thank you Sue. I think the mantel is my favorite by far.
Terrie, your mantel looks lovely! That was clever to put pink plaid wrapping paper in a frame. The floral garlands are beautiful and add some nice drama. I love the pink vases, too. And of course, the bunnies! So cute 🙂 It was fun hopping with you. Happy Easter!
Thank you Rebecca. I love the look of the mantel this Easter season.
I love absolutely everything about your spring mantel–especially all the pink. It’s pure perfection! Pinned.

Aw thank you Niky!!
I love everything about this mantle! It’s the perfect color scheme… cute rabbits… It is beautiful!
Thank you dear friend. I appreciate your sweet comment.
Love all of it! I saw the little bunny you bought at Hobby Lobby and debated about getting one. These are the kinds of rabbits to have, not the ones who eat your garden! ha! xoxo
Thanks Donna. I have the mommy and 3 baby bunnies from there, this one is one of them. Yes….I agree, these are a lot better than the ones that destroy your flower beds.
Your spring mantel is gorgeous!!! You have a flair for decorating and it shows in the layering of your decor elements. Everything is perfect!!!
Hugs,
Kippi
