For a long time now, I have been searching for a piece to place in a corner in the kitchen near the table area. When I was in Hobby Lobby, I purchased a piece the right size for the corner.
I moved my HOME wall decor to the other wall.
For the entire weekend I kept it there to decide if I like it or not. Once I made the decision to keep it there, I removed the price tag, extra parts baggie and tighten all the bolts. Now it’s time to decorate it. I gathered some new and old items to place on the tower.
This blog post is to give you inspiration, not for teaching you, I have a previous blog post on HOW I STYLE A HUTCH if you want to know my thought process when decorating a shelf or tray.
4-Tiered Tray Tower Inspiration
Since the top tray is small, I place a single plant in the center of the tray using a neutral container. Yes, real plants would work for some, but for me I prefer faux.
For the second shelf, I added a wooden sign as a backdrop. To keep the sign standing and not falling over, I used a zip tie to the back iron leg.
To the shelf I added a Turkish towel, draping it over the side and front. Another small faux plant and three little pottery cups.
To the third tray I kept it simple as the first tray. I placed a blue pottery vase, more greenery and a small wooden house.
To the largest tray I placed several things.
- cutting board to the back
- Blessed lid container
- faux potted plant
- cloche with wooden plate and knob
- faux blueberries
- small creamer
Each tray I added just a touch of blue for an accent. It flows nicely with the hutch and kitchen table decor.
This will be a fun staple piece during the season and holidays, don’t you think?
This is how I decorated my tower, if you have the Hobby Lobby tower let me know how you decorated it and where you place it in your home.

It’s perfect there Terrie! And you did a great job styling it. Beautiful!
Thanks Tammy, I was hoping it would work, so happy it did.
