Have you picked out the theme for your Christmas tree yet? I am sharing the family room’s Christmas tree and some of the items I placed on it this year.
After putting together your tree and fluffing the branches it’s time to add the topper to the tree. Adding the topper first before anything else will keep you from knocking off your ornaments when sticking the picks inside the tree.

My Christmas Tree Topper
When using multiple picks to the tree, start with the heaviest/largest pick first down to the smallest. Also, when creating the top decoration of your Christmas tree you want to have enough picks to go around the whole top of your tree. I have a 7.5′ tree so I created two groupings, one for the front and one for the back of my tree.
My Christmas Ribbon
I love the Christmas plaid pattern during the season so it shouldn’t be surprising that is the ribbon I am using. I paired it up with some 4″ red velvet with gold trim ribbon.
Christmas Picks
To add to the body of the tree I created some picks with items similar to the tree topper. I used the red hydrangeas, blue berries and twigs, but didn’t have any berries or greenery left so I ordered some picks to pair with the hydrangeas.
Ornament Enhancement
I am always in AWE when I go view Rebecca Robeson’s Christmas trees, she uses spinners to show off some of her special ornaments on her tree….WELL, I found similar ones on Amazon and was so excited I couldn’t wait to place them on my trees.
They are not the brand Rebecca uses but they still work the same. You will have to view my video on how I decorate my tree to see how they work.
