FALL DECORATED BLANKET LADDER

Start by carefully removing the three wording pieces from the signs base.

Cut three pieces of twine to the length of 12 inches.

Hot glue the twine in the center of each piece of the word signs.

Tie the wording to the ladder.

I placed the wording as below.

Adding the garland to the ladder with twine.

Tie the end of the garland at the top of the ladder with twine opposite of the Welcome sign.  Placing it in a S shape, tying it under each of the wording sign.  As my picture below.

Taking all three raffia bundles and making a bow.  Here is how I made my simple raffia bow.

  1. With each bundle unravel, gathering one piece at a time to make a neater look.

2.  With two of the bundles after you do step 1, make a single loop.  You will do that to both bundles.  This will be your bow tie.

3.  With the other strand make the tails.

4.  Place the tails to the bottom of the bow tie and tie with a single piece of raffia, long enough to tie it to the ladder.

It should look like this.

Placing the 3 faux pumpkins on the steps of the ladder.

Now step back and enjoy! How cute is this?? A little different change than throwing a blanket on the ladder, don’t you think?

    1. Thanks Teresa. A ladder is so fun to have in the home. I love decorating it or just a simple throw either way you want to style it looks great. I have a simple tutorial on how to make one. I know you could do it.

  2. This is so pretty! I seriously just wrapped mine in orange lights and tied a Dollar Tree sign to the top. 🤣 I think I need to start over. I was being lazy.
