It’s time for another monthly Creative Craft hop, this month we have 1o crafters sharing some fun crafts. Thanks to Sara, Birdz of a Feather for being our sweet host each month. The bottom of my page, I will share each participant’s link to their craft.
If you are coming over from Annie, The Apple Street Cottage welcome!
Today, I am going to share a simple way to make a Christmas swag. All you need are a few stems, floral wire and a holiday wired ribbon! Let me show you how easy it was to make.
How to make an easy Christmas swag
Supplies needed:
- 4 favorite Christmas stems – 1 full Christmas stem, 1 regular Christmas stem, 1 thin evergreen stem and one piece of a eucalyptus stem.
- Christmas wired ribbon
- floral wire
- snips
Use the fullest Christmas stem and the evergreen stem stacking the fullest one on top of the evergreen stem.
Take the other Christmas stem and stick it into the stacked two stems.
Place the eucalyptus piece on top of the stem.
With the floral wire secure the 4 stems together.
Tightly wrap the wire around the stems.
With your wire make a pretty bow and attach to the center of the swag.
And that my sweet friend is all it was to make. Look how pretty this is, can you imagine it sitting on your coffee table or entry way table? Yep, you can have your own by following these simple steps.
Now let’s go and check out the other crafter’s craft. Next up is Carol, Bluesky at Home I can’t wait to see what she has created for us.

Terrie, your swag is just lovely and I love how you styled it! Swags and garlands are so expensive, so I always craft my own, too. Pinned! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction

This is gorgeous Terrie! Do you use real greenery? If so, how long do you find this display will last?
No Sara they are faux, but you can use real, wouldn’t that look pretty and smell great?
