MAKE IT YOUR DECOR – CLEARANCE REVAMP

Hey there!  I’m so excited to share with you how my two Kirkland’s clearance frames turned out.

My hopes for sharing this blog post is, I want you to look past what you see and focus on what it could be!  With a little time and effort you’ll have a great piece to display in your home.

Let’s start with one of my frames.  I will be using paint and my Cricut for this one.

The first thing I did was tape the frame to protect it from getting paint on it.

I sanded the lettering smooth and gave it one coat of primer.

For the wording, I ordered a PDF file on Etsy,  & to all a good night.  Using my Cricut I created a stencil to paint the letters with white craft paint.

To match my new bedding I mixed sky blue, dark granite and a dab of midnight blue Apple Barrel craft paint.

After the paint dried I distressed the sign and applied one coat of poly to it.  That’s it.

The next sign I will be using the same custom blue paint as on the first sign.  Painting the entire sign tracing around all the lettering.

The smaller letters was a little tedious but it turned out so good!

After the blue dried I took white Apple Barrel craft paint and painted each letter.  Gave it one coat of poly.

If you like my revamped signs, be sure to check out the clearance shelves for frames you can revamp. 🙂

Thanks for coming over into the craft room to watch me change my signs.  I love their new color.
