Love the plates she has chosen.  I will have all my friends links to their tables at the bottom of my post.

My Thanksgiving tablescape I am sharing with you today is budget friendly.  I hope you enjoy my blue, white and silver Thanksgiving table.

Let’s get started with my table!  ~This post contains affiliate links.~ Click {{HERE}} for the disclosure.

If this is your first visit over to my blog you will notice that I love to share some inexpensive ways to decorate our home.  Budget is a big part of life, or at least it is in my home.  Hopefully I can share some tips and tricks to help you decorate your home.

I started with this table runner I purchased at Dollar General.

I placed the table runner in the center of my the table.

For the center piece I am using different heights and styles of silver candle holders with white pillar candles.

I placed my white pumpkins and a mercury glass pumpkin in keeping the harvest a live a couple more days.

For the base of each place setting I am using my Dollar Tree silver plate chargers.

I am using my every day white dishes.  This will make it easy to clean up, I can easily place them into the dishwasher after dinner.

Each place setting has a dinner plate, bread plate, a small bowl and a silver charger plate.

Keeping with the color scheme I am using my linen napkins and silver napkin rings.

I will be placing the napkin inside the small bowl.

Below is how I folded the napkins giving you a step by step tutorial.

  • Folding the napkin into a small square; folding the napkin in half and then folding it in half again
  • Fold in the sides toward the center
  • Gather the center of the napkin together
  • Slip into the napkin ring
  • Placing the napkin ring inside the bowl
  • Taking the layer side and pulling each layer to fan them apart

I like how this looks in the bowl, don’t you?  Sort of reminds me of a turkey tail. 🙂

Adding the beverage glasses and flatware to the table.

A few more views of my Thanksgiving table.

I just love the blue, white and silver combo.  My inspiration was the table runner.  Isn’t it something how it all just blends together?

The candle stick below is a thrift store fine.  It was only $1.00…How can you not pick it up?

There will be plenty inspiration for you to absorb during this blog hop.  You will love the ideas!  Be sure you make it over to all of my sweet friend’s home to see their inspiration.  Next up is Amber Follow The Yellow Brick Home.

  1. Terrie you have done an amazing job creating an elegant “high end ” Thanksgiving table setting on a budget! This is my kind of tablescape! I saw that same exact runner at Dollar General back in the summer and I really regret not getting it now. I had forgotten about it and in your first picture it looks like an expensive French farmhouse style runner!

Don’t you just love Dollar Tree chargers? Now Dollar Tree has some dark gold ones that have an aged look. I bought four and I can’t wait to use them for Christmas, and I am headed back to purchase their white and gold dishes. I hope they haven’t sold out!

Okay so I have no clue how to fold napkins, and I love how yours look! Thanks for showing us. I am definitely pinning this!

Thank you so much for hopping with us this week. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    1. Amber, Thank you so much for your sweet comments. I have picked up a couple of Dollar General table runners. Both I am so happy with.

I did see the new chargers and for some reason did not pick them up and afterwards I am kicking myself. Can’t wait to see how you style your table for Christmas.

I had a great time hopping with everyone. It was so much fun setting my table and sharing it on the hop. PLUS…I enjoy hopping around to the sweet girl’s dining room to view their tables.

Happy Thanksgiving to you my sweet friend!

  2. Terrie, I feel like this tablescape can transition for any season… With the addition of different accessories. Love your $1 candlestick find and the silver accents are beautiful!

    1. Thank you Susan. I have to agree with you that this table can be used for any time of the year just replacing the pumpkins. I couldn’t pass up that thrift store find. I am bad about buying things just because they are inexpensive, but then again who could of walked pass that! Have a great day Susan. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Marty when I went into Dollar General I had no idea what I would find, one good thing about stores like that you just never know what they have on the shelves. I wasn’t looking for the runner but when I saw it I knew I wanted it. I just pulled it out and thought this wold look pretty with silver. I am so glad that I picked it up because I love the color combo.

      I love your table!

  3. Sounds like you’re a thrift store shopper like me, Terrie! Don’t you just love it how one thrift store find can inspire a whole decorating theme? Great finds, beautiful table you’ve created! Fun to be hopping with you. Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Blue, silver and white makes a stunning combination for your Thanksgiving table. I’m impressed that you found that pretty table runner at Dollar General. I’m going to start taking a peek there to see what pretty goodies I may find. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family!

    1. Paula, thank you so much for your kind words. I am very impressed with Dollar General here lately. I have purchased 2 table runners for $6 and they are very good quality. If I were you I would take a peak you just never know. 🙂

    1. Carol, You are too cute. I love the blue also! I am glad you like the napkin fold. I like how it looked in the bowl. Can’t wait to see how you style your table with the folded napkins.

  5. Terrie,
I love blue, and your blue and silver table looks elegant and perfect for Thanksgiving. Your centerpiece is eye-catching for the entire length of the table, yet you still have room for food.

    Happy Thanksgiving,

    Judith

    1. Judith, Thank you so much for stopping by. I am so happy you like my table. Normally we do a buffet type dinner which allows plenty of table space for my guest. That being said I still want enough space so we can see each other to visit. 🙂 Thank you for your sweet comments.

  6. Terrie, what a unique and lovely color palette that goes beautifully with your mercury glass. I especially liked the pretty napkin fold and appreciate the tutorial. Definitely going to try it out soon. Pinned!

    1. Emily you are such a doll! Thank you. I am slowly collecting mercury glass for some reason. 🙂 I love how you can use them all through out the year.

  7. What a fun way to decorate with blue and silver! Everything is really pretty. I’m crazy about your napkin rings and the folds on the napkins are fantastic. All of the details you’ve incorporated are beautiful. I hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving, CoCo
