This year I decided I was going to display our nativity set(similar). So, today I am sharing our dining room with our nativity as the centerpiece.
Christmas Dining Room
Before I share our dining room, I wanted to let you know this is the last room in our home we will be decorating for Christmas. Tammy Patina and Paint’s will be sharing her dining room table as will, I will link her Christmas table at the bottom of my page.
The Christmas Tree
I placed our tree in the center of our large window. For the tree topper I used a beautiful angel with gold sprays and red berries to create a glow for her.
I added 3 beautiful starburst ornaments on a spinner under her.
The China Cabinet
In the china cabinet, displaying my Christmas dinner and salad plates and pops of red glass and gold reindeer.
The Wine Tower
Keeping the theme on the top of the wine cabinet, I added red berries, gold Christmas tree and a wooden plaque.
Wall Decorations
I hung my Christmas angel frame, even though it is blue, I think it’s a bright glow for the wall. The basket, I added birch logs and greenery.
The Table
Table Runner
For the table runner I used two types of paper, wrapping paper and shipping paper.
Leaving the paper long enough to drape on the floor.
I used my Cricut and brown vinyl to add the saying to the shipping paper.
Centerpiece
I used gold (similar) and green trees for a backdrop for the nativity scene.
For a glow on the table, I added two of my wooden candle holders topped with my favorite battery-operated candles.
The nativity was a gift from my mother-in-law. It has sound effects of the special night Jesus was born.
Garland
Starting with a basic greenery Christmas garland and adding berries, pine and cedar to it.
I added three bells and a red bow to finish the look of the garland.
I hope this gives you some Christmas decorating ideas. I’m off to add Christmas to the front porch and surrounding areas. Stay tuned for those details coming soon!
