Hey there! The first room I decorated for Christmas is complete. The Master bedroom has all the special touches of Christmas and I just love how it looks and feels. Let me share with you how I add Christmas into the room.
Before I bring you into our Master bedroom I am joining in a series with Tammy Patina and Paint and Corine Junk to Gem on bringing you into our homes while we decorate for Christmas. I will have both of their links of their Christmas bedrooms below at the bottom of my page.
Sharing my inspirational board I shared of my plans for the Master bedroom before I show you the room.

On the bed
The easiest way to bring Christmas in your bedroom would be decorating your bed with holiday pillows.
To view more about our bed and the sources you can click here Blog post HOW TO ADD A TOUCH OF CHRISTMAS TO YOUR BED or video of me decorating the bed HOW TO ADD A TOUCH OF CHRISTMAS TO YOUR BED.
I placed one of my Kirkland’s revamp signs on the back wall above the headboard. I also made a swag to hang over the sign.
To see the revamping of my sign you can click here MAKE IT YOUR DECOR – CLEARANCE REVAMP.
Night Stands
On the night stands I kept it real simple, added 3 Christmas cone trees to each.
To check out my tutorial on how I made the cone Christmas trees you can click here for my blog tutorial DIY CONE CHRISTMAS TREES or video tutorial DIY CONE CHRISTMAS TREES.
Chest of drawers
To the chest of drawers I added an ornament sitting in a DIY mini Christmas greenery wreath.
On the window frame I placed my DIY Christmas swag.
To view how I created the swag you can click here CHRISTMAS SWAG.
On the chair I added a throw and a jewel JOY pillow.
I found in TjMaxx a couple years ago.
TV Armoire
To the top of the armoire I added a few touches of Christmas as well.
I added my other Kirkland’s frame revamp up on the wall by the blanket angle ladder, which I placed Christmas lights around one side.
To check out the tutorial on the blanket ladder you can read here ANGELD BLANKET LADDER.
The Dresser
On the dresser I kept my two ginger jars and candle sticks, however I companied them with a few Christmas items.
To the smaller ginger jar I added some wintery picks.
I added a black reindeer to even out the black candlesticks on the other side.
The framed angel was purchased on Amazon. I love her!
In front of the candlesticks and frame I placed Santa and a Christmas tree to finish the decorations.
The Christmas Tree
I decorated the tree in soft blues, white, gold and silver. I shared how to fluff and decorate the tree in a video. To view the two videos you can click here: HOW TO FLUFF A PENCIL TREE AND HOW TO DECORATE A PENCIL TREE.
Next to the tree I added my little Santa revamp. He’s adorable!
To view the before and after Santa you can view that transformation here. SANTA REVAMP.
Adding Christmas to a space is always fun for me, however it does mean a little work revamping old decorations to fit your theme for the room. That’s the great thing about paint, as you can see in our Master bedroom I change my decorations….a lot! Can you tell they have been revamped, homemade or repurposed?
Now that you have view how I decorated our Master bedroom let’s go over and see how Tammy and Corine decorated theirs.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
