Who’s ready to get inspired with Christmas decorating, crafts, DIYs and some revamps of old decorations???? I am!! Today, I am kicking off my 2021 Decorate With Me | Christmas Series. I had such a great response from all of you during our Fall series that we decided to do Christmas the same way! An additional goody, Tammy Patina and Paint and Corine Junk to Gems will be doing the series with me. They both are sharing what they are planning in their Christmas home on their blogs, I will have their links at the bottom of my page.
I am sure some of you are thinking, she’s nuts….she just finished decorating her home for Fall!
This is true, both parts 🙂 but our son Todd will be closing on his new home Thanksgiving weekend. He will need both his dad and my help moving and getting things settled. Also, I will be decorating each room for him, rest to sure I’ll share all that with you as well. Actually, I should of started my Christmas decorating way before now because, I have several things I need/want to do.

Today’s blog post are my decorating plans for our Christmas home, part of planning is picking out colors and patterns. Planning first helps me to prepare my decorations, plus what I need to purchase. I have already started linking everything on my Amazon page as well. SHOP MY CHRISTMAS HOME.
The first room to decorate will be the Master bedroom.
Master bedroom
Colors: Blue, white, grey and golds.
For our master bedroom, new bedding from Lush Decor will be placed on our bed and a few cute throw pillows I purchased on Amazon.
Kitchen:
Colors: Blue, white and reds.
For the kitchen I will be gathering my blue and white dishes adding accents of red berries, greenery and florals.
Foyer and Dining room:
Colors: Deep red tones, navy, green and gold.
Setting the mood for rich jewel tones for our dining room and foyer. I’ll be pulling out some of my older ornaments and decorations that I haven’t used in a long time.
Family Room:
Colors: Red, Navy and Christmas plaid with touches of gold.
I am in love with the red and navy tartan pattern. I ordered one new pillow on Amazon to go with the pillows I already have.
Now my plans are complete and my Christmas tubs are ready for me to dig into. It’s on to the next step!
Next step, gathering all the decorations, change or create items I need for each rooms.
Here is what’s I have planned for you this week:
- How to fluff your Christmas tree
- My favorite Fall recipe
- Christmas craft
- How to decorate a skinny Christmas tree
- Add Christmas to your bed
- Add Christmas to your master bedroom
Hope you come over to Decorate and More with Tip this week to watch me add Christmas to our Master bedroom.

God bless you! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
I can’t wait to see your home for Christmas! Great inspiration and color choices.
Thank you Cindy. Can’t wait to start!
Wow! Terrie your house is going to be a Christmas Wonderland! So pretty! I can’t wait to see it all put together. I’m really interested in your new bedding. I’ve been eyeing the bed set for awhile now in the natural color. I love plaid too, it’s always been a favorite of mine. It’s going in a guest room this year…. Can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with this week.
Awe thanks Tammy. I can’t wait to get it all done so I can enjoy it. Seems like the season is always so busy there is no time to sit back and relax.
Oh my goodness I am loving the direction you are going. The master bedroom is full of beautiful inspiration. Can’t wait to see the end result!
Thanks Corine. I hope it all turns out the way I have it in my head. As always love working with you two girls!
