SPRING FRESH KITCHEN

All this week I shared how I spring cleaned our kitchen, from cleaning routine to step by step instructions on how I cleaned.  Today, I am sharing how our kitchen looks all fresh and cleaned!

Joining me on sharing our cleaned kitchens, Tammy Patina and Paint.  I will have her blog post at the bottom of my page.

There is something about spring cleaning that makes me want to do a total refresh in every room of our home.  If only money grew on trees, right?  I just recently gave our kitchen nook a refresh, you can view that reveal here KITCHEN NOOK REVEAL.  When it came to the kitchen area, I gave it a refresh by cleaning every nook and cranny.

I want to focus on everything I tackled in the room, I will link my tutorials up as I go.  (Click on the title for the tutorial).

Kitchen Cabinets

After I cleaned the light fixtures and trim, I started cleaning and organizing the cabinets.  Once the inside of my cabinets was finished, I cleaned the outside of the cabinets.

Appliances

Next, cleaning all the appliances.  This part isn’t an easy task, but it sure makes one feel good when the job is all complete.

Kitchen Sink

A clean sink always puts a smile on my face.  When I walk into the kitchen each morning and the sink is clean and shinning it seems to make me have a better morning.

Kitchen Floor

I make my own floor cleaner, the smell of a newly cleaned floor is refreshing.  I placed another Amazon Gemino runner in front of the sink.

The kitchen is cleaned!!  On to the next room!

Easy Swaps to Add to the Kitchen

I also want to share my favorite things I like to change as the season changes.

Kitchen Sink Decor

I like to keep hand soap next to the kitchen sink, it is an easy way to refresh the look and feel to the space.

Linens

Change out your dish towels, potholders and even aprons for the season brings charm and function to your kitchen.

Artwork

Placing art on the countertop is one of the easiest ways to add visual interest and pop of color to the space. A great piece to change out as the season changes, too.

Cutting Boards

I love using cutting boards to show case and enhance the items on or in front of them.  They make many shapes, sizes and colors of cutting boards for a neutral theme in your kitchen.

Scoops

The last swap I have for you today when using clear canisters, this gives you options to change out the scoops, teacups, wooden scoops or seasonal mugs.

I want to show you the breakfast bar I finally finished.

Before

After

I painted the stools with Dovetail by Sherwin Williams.

Before

After

Changed pendant lighting with Asnxcju Matte Black Pendant Light purchased on Amazon.

I hope the things I shared while I spring cleaned and decorated the kitchen were inspiring to you! Are there any other ideas that you personally use for your kitchen? If so, I would love to hear them, leave me a comment!
