Today is all about spring decorating ideas! We are in the family room decorating for Easter. Tammy Patina and Paint is feeling better so we will continue sharing our Decorate with Us | Easter Season 2023. I will have Tammy’s link at the bottom of my page.

Facebook page or YouTube Channel.
In this post, we will look at some of my spring decor ideas I created in my shelving unit, top of the chest and the chair area. You will find these spring decor ideas to be a traditional styling but can be adjusted to fit your own home’s style.
Shelving Unit
To the very top of the unit, I sat a Hobby Lobby Wooden Bunny behind the cage lantern. I styled him in a fun peek-a-boo look.
To the top shelf, I kept it very simple, by adding only an Easter Bunny Ear Wood Blocks decoration.
The next shelf, I placed a Magnolia Flower and Berry Wreath to the shelf for texture and greenery.
To one side of the wreath, I placed two Kirkland’s Pre-Lit Ceramic Eggs (similar) and to complete the shelf I added my DIY Spring Frame and a blush bird decor.
Onto the next shelf. I kept the cathedral mirror on the shelf with some Spring elements. White flowers and the Hopper the Bunny Standing Rabbit.
To the bottom of the unit, I added a basket full of greenery with a bunny. The bunny I made in a ceramic class 20 something years ago.
This completes the decorations for the shelving unit.
Tabletop Decor
Started the decorations with my Anthropologie Vase Dupe-DIY with pink blossom stems tucked inside.
For the theme, I used my Hobby Lobby little Bunnies and their Mommy Bunny, I sat mommy bunny up on my Dollar Tree DIY Riser.
I gave a little change to my Walmart lantern with gold spray paint. Adding one of my Amazon Battery Operated Flat Top Candles. To add color, I placed two hydrangeas beside the lantern.
To the other side of the vase, I placed my DIY Bunny Frame and more cute bunnies. Adding more lighting, two brass candlesticks with Battery Operated tapered candles from Amazon. Finishing off with a touch of greenery.
One more hydrangea to give it a pop of color.
This completes the top of my chest.
Chair Area
To the door I hung my egg wreath, I painted it with softer pastel colors.
To give the chair color and texture, I added a pink pompom throw and an Easter Pillow. Both, I found on Amazon a couple years ago.
To the floor I added a little Spring to the basket. A White Waffle Lumbar Pillow, bunny and greenery.
This completes the space.
I am happy with how the back of our family room looks, I can’t wait to share the rest of the room with you. Please come back tomorrow where I share how I add a simple vignette to the TV console.
Now let’s check out Tammy’s space she is decorating in her family room!
