Welcome to our Creative Craft blog hop, thanks to Sara, Birdz of a Feather for being our sweet host each month. The bottom of my page, I will share each participant’s link to their craft.
If you are coming over from Donna, Modern on Monticello, welcome!
Today, I am sharing a wall decor I made from things I had on hand. Old decorations and bits and pieces of things I had leftovers from other decorations.
Wreath Wall Decor DIY
Making the wreaths
I am using an old 6ft Christmas garland, cutting it into three evenly pieces.
Connect the two ends of the pieces together.
Fluff the greenery pulling the stems toward the two connected ends.
Now do the same steps with the other two pieces of garland.
With my pieces of leftover greenery, I divided it evenly to place on each wreath.
I started attaching my pieces of greenery to the wreath, creating a fuller wreath.
Adding berries and pinecones to the wreaths.
I did the same with the other two wreaths.
Creating the wall decor
Cut a piece of ribbon in the length you need. I cut a fish tail to one end of the ribbon. Used a nail to hang it to the wall.
I used three nails, one at the top of the ribbon and two more to hold the other two wreaths. I placed a bow at the top.
Creating the wreaths to look the same, I used the amount of the same greenery on each wreath. Rather it was 3 pieces or 1, I kept it consistent for each wreath.
Not only is it perfect for my wall, but I emptied my tub of leftovers. Win-Win!
Up next is Gail , Purple Hues and Me, can’t wait to see her wreath. Check out everyone’s craft by clicking on their link.

Terrie, what a great way to reuse older garland. You really made the wreaths look a million bucks. Love how you displayed them.
Thank you Carol. I try to use things I have on hand first, I do like how this turned out.
Thanks for the giveaway and i love your wreath!
Glad you like how I created the trio of wreath decorations. Thank you.
Terrie, I have always loved the look of hanging double or triple smaller wreaths. (I featured a triple set over my Christmas mantle last year, and this holiday season a double on my interior door.) You did a beautiful job of filling out the wreaths with added greenery and I love the festive ribbon you used! Wishing you a blessed holiday season! Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
Great minds think alike Cecilia. Thank you so much for your sweet comment.
Wow Terrie, I can’t believe you created this from left overs. Your vertical is beautiful and you found the perfect spot to hang it!
Thank you Sara. I always try to use what I had on hand, I do love how it turned out.
Gorgeous, Terrie! And I love the bow design! The fabric is quite chic!
Thank you Gail. Love the ribbon, too!
Very pretty Terrie! I love how you made the wreaths yourself. So smart. That ribbon is one of my favorite Christmas ribbon that I’ve seen this year. Thanks for sharing –
Thank you Tammy, I use garland a lot in a lot of ways. 🙂 I do love the ribbon this year.
