Happy September! Welcome to our back porch! Today’s weather was beautiful, no humidity, a tiny breeze and cooler temperature. Not Fall weather, but not the dead of heat we have been having. A great day to decorate the porch for Fall! The girls will be decorating their porches as well. I’ll have their links at the bottom of my page.
Our 2023 Fall Back Porch
Getting closer to having our home completely decorated for Fall. Since the weather was so nice, I brought Fall to our outdoor living area. So today, I am going to share our 2023 cozy Fall back porch.
It really doesn’t take much to change out our back porch for different seasons. There are a couple things I change to create a new look for seasons here in the back porch.
Change out pillows.
I changed the chair pillows with orange patterned embroidered pillow.
For those cooler evening, I tucked an orange and blue throw on to one arm of the chair.
The pillows on the loveseat, I placed two throw pillows, an orange tweed pillow and a Kirkland’s Hello Fall pillow.
Pillows for the swing, I added an orange buffalo plaid with a Fall wording pillow and the other side I placed an off white throw pillow with tassels.
Table decorations.
Changes to the coffee table was placing my DIY Fall arrangement I shared early this year.
Hopefully, the weather will be turning cooler, so the candles won’t melt. I like the look of real flame burning on the back porch.
Another table to change is the side table. I placed my DIY stacked pumpkins; I painted again this year. A lantern with an acorn stem wrapped around the candle.
Adding Fall to the storage trunk, I put a couple of small pumpkins and leaves inside my bike planter.
Floor decorations
Changed out the pillow in the basket and added a faux pumpkin to the coal bucket.
Where my hanging lantern stands, I wrapped a lighted Fall garland up the stand and tucked the left-over garland inside the lantern.
The first site when walking out into the porch I placed a wooden fun pumpkin decor next to the loveseat.
I saw this same Fall decor in Hobby Lobby for a lot more than the thrift store one I found.
Last corner to add a touch of Fall to is next to the swing. I added my two Rustic Wooden Pumpkins for touches of Fall in that corner.
Wall decorations
Wall decor above the swing, I placed my large tobacco basket with a pumpkin print to the center. I wrapped another lighted leaf garland around the outer part of the basket, hung it on the wall and viola! It’s perfect.
Decorations for the iron wall planter, I made a dry leaf arrangement. To the shelf, I placed my Blessing sign from Kirkland’s.
A small wall above the storage trunk I hung a hello pumpkin frame.
Now that we have our back porch decorated for Fall and the weather will be cooling down some, we’re looking forward to spending more time out on the porch.
I am so excited to have the back porch all decorated for Fall! Do you decorate your outdoor living space for Fall? I hope I inspired you with something I have decorated on our back porch.
