Tammy Patina and Paint and I are sharing a DIY wall art with you.  Tammy will be sharing a frame makeover; I will have her link at the bottom of my page.

For my DIY wall art I will be stenciling the wall behind the guest bed.  I was lucky enough to be collaborating with Royal Design Studio Stencils, I received a stencil of my choice.  They have several stencils to choose from, plus paint and supplies to help with your stenciling project.

Large Moorish Trellis Stencil

I have posted a tutorial on how I stencil a wall in a previous blog post, you can read here HOW TO STENCIL AN ACCENT WALL.

The main paint color I applied was Dover Gray by Glidden and the small accent color English Channel by Glidden.

Royal Design Studios has STENCILING TIPS on how to stencil.  So helpful, one of their tips is, less paint is best.  So, I rolled the paint on the sponge roller and took most of it right back off.  The less paint you have on your sponge, the less bleeding of paint under the stencil will be.

I first rolled the gray on and dabbed the blue with a sponge dabber.

When I pulled the stencil off the wall, I instantly fell in love.

I started my stencil in the center top of the wall and worked myself to each corner.  It turned out perfect when I came to the corners.  Full stencil then adding a dot to the end.

I hope I inspired you to think about stenciling something with a stencil from Royal Design Studio Stencil.  They have hundreds of choices for you to choose from.

If you missed any of my post of the guest bedroom you can catch up here.
