Today on One Room at a Time – Guest Bedroom, we are sharing how we paint furniture in the room a new look on a budget. Tammy, Patina and Paint will be sharing her furniture change.
I have shared how to paint furniture, my way in a blog post previously. You can read my steps on this blog post HOW I PAINT FURNITURE. Also, I have posted a cliff note version on my Facebook page.
Remember in the beginning of the project, I showed how many pieces were on one wall in the room.
I have purged a couple pieces, I kept the two nightstands and the chest of drawers.
MOOD BOARD FOR THE NIGHTSTANDS
I will be painting the three pieces with Benjamin Moore Advance paint in the color English Channel, which is a Glidden paint color.
Sanding, cleaning, priming and painting the furniture. Love the new color.
Now for the finishing touches I will be adding brass ring pulls and handles. The existing hardware were brass but with a white handle. Not the look I want for the furniture now.
The Ring Drawer Pulls were found on Amazon, 6 pulls in a package. The ring type pulls will add traditional style with pizzazz.
These were also found on Amazon, Traditional Bail Drawer Pulls, comes in a package of 6.
I will be sharing the complete nightstand’s makeover in the bedroom reveal. Thanks for joining me today, and remember, check out the full tutorial of my steps painting furniture on my previous blog post. HOW I PAINT FURNITURE

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
