Back into the kitchen decorating for Christmas. We are sharing how we style our kitchen hutches for Christmas. Tammy Patina and Paint, Teresa Through a Vintage Door and Corine Junk to Gems will be joining me today. I will have their links at the bottom of my page.
Below I am sharing how I decorated my kitchen hutch for Christmas, I hope I can give you some inspiration.
I was going to do a Woodland theme, but when I started decorating something else came to me. More traditional with a little Whimsical, I think it was the polka dots. 🙂 I’ll do a woodland them in the laundry room.
Let me show you everything up close. If you want to watch me decorate my hutch you can view on my Facebook page or my YouTube channel.
Top Shelf
Center
I placed a large platter that I have had for zillion years. It is the anchor piece of the whole hutch. I placed my Santa tea pot to the side of it.
Left Side
I placed a green Dollar Tree dinner plate and my two polka dot dishes I purchased this year in Ross. I added a Christmas pick in the little pitcher.
Right Side
Another green Dollar Tree plate with a red and plaid pitcher and two square bowls with ornaments and greenery tucked inside the top bowl.
Second Shelf
Left side
I placed a smaller platter in the plate slot. In front of the platter, I placed a snowman pitcher and the JOY sign I purchased this year in Ross.
Right Side
Using an easel to create both platters to stand to show the pretty pattern of the dish. I also placed a snowflake mug with a Christmas pick tucked inside. I also placed a cute little figurine of building a snowman.
Center
Added a Christmas stem to the center of the shelf to finish the look.
Top of the Cabinet
Wire Tray
The tray is a staple piece on my hutch. I love changing up the decor I place inside the tray but the tray itself is something you will find me keep sitting on the hutch. Folded three red and white dish towels to one side of the tray. To the other side of the tray, I added a large wooden snowflake and a gift ceramic container. I placed a Christmas pick to the top of the dish towels.
Left Side
I found the cutest things in Dollar General the other day. The stack books were one of them. So Cute! I changed out the ribbon to my Blessed canister and placed behind the stack books.
Right Side
The stocking hat and mitten was the other two things I found in Dollar General. They are too cute, aren’t they?
Most of the items I styled on my hutch have been with me for several years, the newer items were from Ross and are hard to link. I hope you found this hutch styling more informational than where you can find this or that. I am truly sorry I can’t link things up for you. But what do you think about my Christmas hutch??? I would love to know.
Make sure you go over and take a tour of Tammy’s kitchen countertops.

I love the little details of the books, hat and mitten, Dollar General really had some great winter home decor. Thanks Teresa.
I love every single thing about this hutch!!! Everything. I seriously want that large inspiration platter! So pretty. As usual, your decor choices are spot on. I can’t wait to see the rest of your kitchen. Such a happy place to be celebrating the season every day.
Thanks Tammy. I was gifted the platter, I actually forgot about it until I started digging into my Christmas dishes.
