Kicking off Christmas 2023 Season! So excited to be sharing another Decorate with Me with you! I will share the very beginning to the very end of my Christmas season. We are starting today with Step 1 of my Three Tips of Having a Stress-Free Christmas Decorating Season;

When deciding on a color palette remember that it’s ok to buck the traditional Christmas trends, chose the colors that appeals to you.
Here is a breakdown of how I will use each color in my Christmas decorating.
Sturdy Brown by Behr
Brown is an earthy, well-grounded color that compliments many colors, since I have a lot of brown furniture in our home, I will add touches of brown in the form of pinecones and wood decor pieces with the greys tones I have in our home to add warmth.
Night Watch and Burch Forest Walmart interior paints
Green is a color of calmness and balance, because it’s connections to nature. What a perfect color to have in your Christmas home, right? The two shades of green will be brought out in Christmas greenery and of course all the Christmas trees.
Blaze, Cinnamon Diamond and Bordeaux Walmart interior paints
The combination of the three colors not only creates a bold and vibrant look, but adds warmth and energy to a room, making it feel more inviting. These colors will be the main pop of color in our Christmas home.
Stargazer and Lazy Afternoon Walmart interior paints
Decorating with greys creates a dramatic and sophisticated feel into a room. I add small amount of the two colors in our home to compliment the larger stable pieces.
Black Magic Walmart interior paints
I will be adding touches of black to our home to create a warm and cozy, lived-in feel. It also adds sophistication and elegance to any space.. This color will be added in the form of vases, candlesticks and containers.
Gold or Brass
Gold is the most timeless metallic shade ever and its traditional for winter holidays, it will easily add a shiny and bright touch to the space. Bring golds into our home with Christmas decorations of all kinds.

A Simple and Serene Christmas!
I love how Kristel styled her Christmas home with greenery and ribbon. I will be using pops of red instead but I love how simple and elegant this looks.
I have my colors, theme and now it’s time to gather up all my decorations to be one step closer to decorate. I will be sharing how I gather my decorations tomorrow; I hope to see you back here tomorrow!
