I am still sharing the 12 Days of Christmas in July; we are on Day 7. Today, I am sharing the tutorial on how to make a fluffy snowman wreath.
How to Make a Fluffy Snowman Wreath
Materials
- small and large wicker wreath
- 5 dust mop pads
- Santa’s hat and scarf
- hot glue
- 3 zip ties
- Christmas greenery and berries
- White paint
Make the snowman shape.
Before starting to create the snowman shape, spray paint both wreaths white. This will help hide the wicker wreath forms.
With the three zip ties, attach both wreaths together to form a snowman shape.
I thread the ties into both wreaths and tightened.
Add fluff to the wreath.
Using 5 dusting pads, I cut them in half and glued them around the wreaths.
Continue to wrap the dust pads until the entire wreath is covered.
Cutting the dusting pads cause shedding, shake off all the loose threads.
Here is how the wreath looks.
Decorate your snowman.
Let’s decorate the snowman with a hat and scarf. I thought it would be cute to use a Santa’s cap and scarf, but wouldn’t a stocking cap and winter scarf look darling too?
Using hot glue to hold the scarf and hat in place. I embellished the brim of the cap with greenery and berries.
It’s always fun creating a craft, especially when they’re super easy and turn out adorable. This cute snowman Christmas wreath will look adorable hanging in your home.
Thanks for joining me as I made my creative craft, now let’s go over and see what the other Creator’s created.

Such a clever way to make a wreath. I would have never thought of using dust pads. Love that you shared this.
Thanks Donna.
Your snowman is super duper cute! Using floor pads instead of wrapping the wreath with chunky yarn sure save a lot of time ~ excellent idea. Pinned.
Thank you so much Allyson.
Super cute, Terrie. Love the idea of using dust pads. Looks just like snow. Good idea to get started early.
Thanks Carol.
Hi Terrie,
I’ve crafted a similar wreath with hoops and bunny ears, but I must say your snowman melts my heart! Such a cute idea! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
Aw, thanks Cecilia. I have done something similar as well making an Easter bunny. Both are super cute.
What a fun and creative way to make this adorable snowman, Terrie! It’s quite cute and sweet! Love how you accessorized it, too! The bright red velvet certainly makes it pop!
Thank you Gail, I saw this done and knew I wanted to give it a shot. I love the red velvet embellishments with the greenery.
Very cute Terrie! The dust cloth covers are genius! You could change out the Santa hat to a different winter hat and use this wreath all winter long! Cute, cute, cute!
Exactly what I was thinking as well. Thanks Jenna, as always so fun hopping with you.
Absolutely adorable, Terrie. Those dust pads really create a great look for the snowman – love it!
It is a perfect material for a snowperson. 🙂 Thanks Ann, have a great summer!
Terrie I love the idea of using the dust cloths to cover the wreaths!!!!! Genius idea and I have the wreaths in storage. Pinning and will be making one soon. Thanks for sharing!
I know yours will be out of the world gorgeous. Thanks Tammy.
