While cleaning out my craft closet, I found a lace wire pumpkin from Dollar Tree. Everyone seems to like a good old Dollar Tree makeover, I wanted to share how I changed up the lace pumpkin to style in our home this Fall season.
The little lace pumpkin I purchased last year and for some reason didn’t do anything with it. Here it is before I took it all apart. You might have seen them in Dollar Tree this year already. They come in black, orange and purple.
With a couple of tools, I was able to pull off all the material from the wire frame.
With Dollar Tree rope, I unraveled the rope to get three strands. Starting at the top, I added a drop of hot glue and attached a single rope strand to the wire, twisted it around the wire adding small amount of glue until I reach the bottom.
When I reached the bottom, I didn’t cut the rope.
Wrapping the wires.
- Using the same strand of rope, wrap the next wire at the bottom to the top.
- Continue to do this up and down until all the wires are wrapped.
Again, not cutting the rope, finishing at the top, glue and wrap the rope around the stem.
Next, I wrapped the rope around the LED light.
Embellishing the pumpkin
Decorating the pumpkin with a wooden leaf and a messy bow.
Hot glue to the top of the pumpkin.
This would be super cute without a bow as well. A perfect little fall accent to add to your home.

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Keep up the great work, my friend. I love everything you do. I admire your stamina and patience.
At a time when your thoughts can be elsewhere. Thinking of you.
Well, thank you so much Lynn. I am happy you are enjoying the things I share.
