Can you believe this will be the first time I decorate our back porch for Fall? I am pulling out a fun theme for the porch. Also, it’s my all time favorite candies ever!!
Today, I am sharing my plans for our back porch and a few DIYs! We are still participating in the Decorate With Us | Fall Series, this series we decided to bring you into our homes to watch us decorate our homes for Fall. Corine Junk to Gems doesn’t have a back porch so she will be sitting this space out, Tammy Patina and Paint and myself will be sharing how we decorate our back porches. I will link Tammy’s link of her back porch inspiration at the bottom of my page.

When trying to come up with an idea on how to decorate the back porch, taking a look at what is left in my Fall stash, I saw the candy corn items and decided to go with the colors orange and yellow.

Two years ago I created a few Candy Corn fun DIYs to share with y’all. If you missed the blog post you can view it here → MY CANDY CRUSH. Make sure you come back here to finish reading about my plans for the back porch! 🙂
Picking out the decorations to use
Starting with the throw pillows, using what I already have, grabbed two orange buffalo plaid pillows, a cute pumpkin pillow and a warm orange plush throw blanket.
For the patio table I also shopped my home for items. I had some orange and yellow floral stems left and a thrift store pitcher I spray painted orange two years ago. I also grabbed my DIY orange buffalo plaid Dollar Tree charges and my DIY wooden candy corn decor.

For the rest of the decorations I will be changing things or creating new items. I have already changed my stacked pumpkins I shared with you last year.

To go with the theme of the porch this Fall I painted the pumpkins and changed the foliage.
I will be adding my Dollar Tree racing track lantern out on the porch as well.

How exciting and pretty choices. I can’t wait to see the back porch!
Thanks Cindy. I am still gathering ideas to place back there, it is fun gathering and creating. Thanks for visiting!
Terrie candy corn is my favorite fall candy! I love how you plan to use it on your porch! The colors are so bright and happy. Can’t wait to see the finished result.
Tammy, I can sit and eat a full bag if you let me, I even had to get a root canal done due to those candies! 🙁 I am having fun over here playing with the two colors. As always, fun working with you!
