FALL STOOP INSPIRATION

While I was decorating our front porch it was the best weather ever, low humidity, sun was shining but not heating up the air and leaves were falling.  Seriously, the best time to be decorating outside!

Today, we are out on the porch sharing some Fall porch inspiration.  Tammy Patina and Paint and I will be sharing how we decorate our front porches for Fall, we hope you are inspired by something we did this Fall season.  I will have Tammy’s porch blog linked at the bottom of my page.

Making the Fall decorations for the porch

I shared how I made the garland, planter and wreath up on my Facebook page.  To view the tutorials, you can click any one of the titles to take you to them.

Putting my creations all together

I pulled out an old evergreen garland I used for my Christmas decorations to use as a base for my Fall garland, attached a leaf garland and several Fall picks.  It turned out so cute.

Kept the door wreath lighter than the garland, I only used three types of stems and three pumpkins.  All from the Dollar Tree.

Down to the floor of the porch, I placed my Fall planter to the corner with Fairy lights and a pumpkin.  I asked my Facebook followers, “what should I decorate the inside of the lantern with a candle or a pumpkin?”  The pumpkin was the vote just by 1 vote.

I had some say use fairy lights with the pumpkin, well how cute would that be?  So, I added them.

In front of the planter, I placed my two wooden DIY pumpkins.

To find out how you can make your own wooden pumpkins here is the link to the tutorial.  RUSTIC WOODEN PUMPKINS.

I placed my Pumpkin patch frame on the side wall.

The last Fall item I placed on the stoop is this cute Fall mat I found in Old Time Pottery.

I love the bright colors with the touch of blue.

How are you decorating your porch for fall?  I am so proud of the look of our porch, maybe closer to Halloween I will add some real pumpkins, but for now I am loving the wooden pumpkins.

Make sure you go over to see how Tammy is decorating her front porch for Fall.
