I have been busy in the guest bathroom, today I am sharing my plans on our guest bathroom’s makeover.  I also linked the source of the items I purchased for you.

Here are the before photos of our guest bathroom.

All the different color taupe in the room and not one blends.

I plan to add a vertical shiplap accent wall painted with the Wild Wilderness by Glidden.  (This color is the same color I painted in the Master bedroom Board and Batten Grid Wall ).  The rest of the bathroom walls will be painted Cream Batch by Greensheen (comparable paint Natural Tan by Sherwin Williams).

If you’ve been following me on my Facebook page, you have seen all the changes I made.  What I haven’t shared is the items I purchased to be placed in the room.  The color palette will be the same as the master bedroom suite, so the first thing I needed was an anchor piece for the room.

DS BATH Palermo Shower Curtain

The Palermo shower curtain is a perfect pick, it showcases all the colors I want in the room.  Love the paisley print.

This will be the only pattern in the room, it will be perfect for the anchor piece.  Now, let the project begin!

Cream Wooden Beaded Wave Frame Mirror

I will replace the large, framed mirror with the mirror below I found on Kirkland’s website.  The shape and texture of the mirror will bring interest to the space.

Love the wood color of the mirror, instead of buying new shelves to match the mirror, I will be painting the white shelves I have.

I will be giving the vanity a new color as well, adding back the nickel hardware.

I love adding baskets to our home, I purchased two basket trays on Amazon to style in the bathroom.

WUWEOT Rattan Serving Tray

Removing the rectangle mirror tray on the vanity with a wicker round tray.  It will soften the look and bring warmth to the light color countertops.

Rattan Toilet Tank Basket Vanity Tray

Adding a tray to the back of the toilet for extra storage, holding extra toilet paper or air freshener.

 

Bath Mat

I will replace the old mat I have now with a new taupe mat.  This is a great rug to place on the floor, it absorbs water and feels comfy on the feet.

Amrapur Overseas 6-Piece Towel Set

All of the towels I have are all white, I ordered a set of blue towels to fold and hang in the space for touches of blue.

That’s my plans for the space and the items I purchased for the bathroom.  Now to be patient while waiting for it all to be delivered.
