Welcome to Decorate with Us |Christmas Season 2023!!  We are kicking off our decorating in the front entryway.  I will have the other girls linked at the bottom of my page.

I shared a Kirkland’s Christmas Shop with Me yesterday, there you will find all of the items I decorated in our foyer.  To recap on the items in Kirkland’s view them here KIRKLAND’S SHOP WITH ME.

Normally, I like to go festive and bold, do you remember how our CHRISTMAS FOYER 2022 looked like?  This year I want decorate more with greenery, less berries and more neutrals.  With a pop of reds.  Let’s see how I do this year!

Christmas Front Entryway 2023

Are you ready??  Here is how I put all my Kirkland’s Christmas goodies in our foyer.

I am totally in love with everything and how our Christmas foyer looks and feels.  It all blends so nicely together, don’t you agree?

Decorating the Wall

First was adding the rod of bells to the wall.  I added the pole to the 3 top coat hooks.  It worked perfectly.

Yes, you aren’t seeing all of the bells.  For the space it was just way too many bells, don’t worry I will be decorating with them in the rest of our home this Christmas season.

I placed Velvet Burgundy 3/8″ Ribbon to the top of each bell to give it a pop of color.

To cover the pole of the bells, I placed the Norfolk garland to the little shelf of the board and batten.  I added a few pieces of flocked picks to give it a little touch of flocking.

Placing fairy lights to the top of the garland to create uplighting and not through the garland.

Lastly to add to the wall is the plaid Merry & Bright frame.  This gave the wall some color, but not a powerful color.

The upper part of the wall is complete, now let’s go down to the bench area.

Decorating the Bench Area

I softened up the bench I folded the soft blanket throw to one side.

Balancing the bench, I placed the Merry pillow to the other side of the bench.

Sitting a Christmas arrangement to the center of the bench gives texture and more pops of red.  The red in the berries matches the red in the pillow and the ribbon on the bells.  Ties it all together.

So, I didn’t keep the bench simple, I added two books, red and a blue on top of the blanket and sat a white pitcher with a black and white stripe ribbon.

Again, I love how the bench looks.

Although it may not really be practical to have a bench full of pretty things, it sure does look pretty decorated for Christmas!

I hope you enjoyed our Christmas front entryway.  Like what you see, keep on coming back, I have several rooms to decorate!!

Now that you see what I have done in our front entryway, check out the other girls!

  1. Hi Terrie

Sorry I haven’t been here in a while but our Peanut has kidney disease.

    It’s been tough since April.

Your bench looks pretty. Love the bells with the velvet ribbon.
