Hey there, welcome back to the One Room at a Time Series, this time we are in the Master bedroom giving it a refresh. If you are new here, One Room at a Time is where we take a room in our home and give it a refresh or makeover on a budget. This will be the third room we have shared in the series, to view all my other One Room at a Time projects click here ONE ROOM AT A TIME. Tammy over on Patina and Paint, Corine over on Junk to Gems and Teresa over on Through a Vintage Door will be joining me. So, keep watching all next week, we will be bringing you into our rooms each day sharing through a video and blog post what we worked on to refresh our rooms with the reveal on Friday!
I have a video of my plans as well up on my Facebook page as well.
Let me give you a quick scan over the room before I start the refresh.

So, that’s what it looks like now, it’s pretty, but I want to give it a little more ump. Here’s the plan I am going to do.
FEATURE WALL
For the back wall, remove the wallpaper and add a board and batten grid accent wall painted a deep rich color.
FURNITURE CHANGE
Next, I will be giving our nightstands and my hope chest, at the end of the bed, a little change as well.
As much as I love how they look now, I want to add a contrast color to the three pieces.
BEDDING CHANGE
I will be changing up the curtains and the bedding.
No doubt, I am bringing back the blues, I will be giving you more information on the bedding and my look I will be creating later this week. Here is my mood board of the things I will be placing on the bed and window treatments.
MASTER BEDROOM HAUL
I will be sharing all the new purchases and some DIYs with you as well.
Make sure you go over and check out the other three girl’s plans and before photos of their Master Bedrooms.
