MASTER BEDROOM UPDATE – AMAZON FINDS

One of the rooms in our home I’m slowly decorating it in my style.  What is my style, you might ask?  I don’t know what my style is, could be cottage, farmhouse, boho or even traditional, if I love it, I will style it.

My Amazon finds and DIYS to the Master bedroom

Starting with the walls.  I painted the walls with Sherwin Williams, Perfect Greige.

Wallpapering the back wall with QIHANG Modern Minimalist Embossed 3D Rose Flower Non-Woven Wallpaper, was a scary project due to the damage wallpaper can do to a wall when removing it.  I took the risk and am so happy I did.

I revamped the mirror’s frame by painting it with a distressed coloring effect.  To find the mirror makeover click here EASY MIRROR MAKEOVER.

Another project I am truly happy with the results.

I kept my ginger jars on the dresser filling them with Artificial Eucalyptus Stems.

To the other side, I styled the WillGail Set of 3 Matte Black Tapered Candle Holders with 3 Ksperway 8″ Ivory Unscented Wax Flameless Taper Candles.  Love how the black creates a dramatic feel.

Onto another revamp I created in the room, my clearance mirror frame.

I have changed it twice before falling in love in love with it.  I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.  To check out the first revamp of my clearance mirror tutorial click here – MIRROR REVAMP.  For the latest revamp frame tutorial, you can click here – DIY BOHEMIAN WALL DECOR.

Let’s talk about the bedding, I am in love with the Lush Decor Lake Blue Ruffle Skirt Bedspread and Lush Decor Comforter Farmhouse Stripe 3 Piece Reversible Bedding Set.  I was a bit worried with the color since I like to change with the seasons, but placing it on the bed during Christmas, showed me it will be perfect all year long.

Instead of using the matching pillow shams that came with the bedspread, I placed 3 TangDepot Solid Decorative Throw Pillow Covers Shams.

I finished with the Bohemian Boho Chic Slate Tufted Tassel Long Throw Pillow; I did create a skinnier pillow by cutting it down.

To the windows, can I just say, I love how the curtains looks with the bedding.  I cut cost by making the curtains myself, I copied the style I found on Amazon. Lush Decor Linen Button Curtain.  It was an easy pattern to copy, to view my tutorial click here – LOOK FOR LESS – WINDOW CURTAINS.

Since the night tables are in front of the windows, I added glass table lamps, (I found in Tj Maxx) to the night tables to allow the sun to shine in.  I found similar lamps on Amazon SAFAVIEH Lighting Collection Liam Stacked Crystal Table Lamp Set of 2.

The Distressed White Wood Shutter Shelf with Hooks was purchased from Kirkland’s online and the two KAIWIN Solid Wood Brown 8×10 Picture Frames on Amazon.

Love this look above the bed.  With the pretty print, wood frame and the black hooks on the shelf it blends every material in the room.

I would like to do a couple more changes to the room, which I wll share when I do.

Thanks again for joining me today, I’d love to hear what you think about the look of our Master bedroom.

    1. Thanks Christine, the last few mornings have been tough crawling out of bed, due to the coldness. I do love how the bedding looks in the room, just a little more change and I’ll be set. 🙂

  1. Terrie, your bedroom looks wonderful with the new pillows, bedding and more! I ought to look for some new bedding but when it comes down to it, I still love all my almost vintage Shabby Chic quilled, duvet covers and older blue linen sheets. I do need new sheets, though! All of my bottom sheets ripped through this past year.

    Enjoy your new bedroom,
    Hugs,
    Barb 💕

    1. Thanks Barb, I don’t know why this is, but buying sheets are always my last thought. I replace them when the old ones wear out. It is like buying undergarments, I dread taking the money to buy new. 🙂
