I am not too sure what color this rabbit is.
Painting the entire rabbit a base coat of tan.
I kept apply more colors of paint to the rabbit until I had him the way I wanted him. I applied Antique wax all over the rabbit and wiped it off with a clean cloth.
A quick look at what he looked like before and then after I painted him.
I added some flowers to the planter and that was it.
I added him to my coffee table Easter decor.
My next find, an Easter egg planter.
I am going to dress the egg up with pink and some sparkle.
Applying the studs with E6000 to the egg.
I am going to add some faux baby’s breath to the inside of the planter.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Great job, Terrie! I especially love how you transformed the bunny planter. He looks alive when you finished, especially the eye. The egg planter also reflects your touch when it was all styled and looks perfectly at home where you placed it. What great bargains you found! So sorry to have missed this challenge!
Thanks Tara! Hopefully next challenge will be just as fun. I do love a great thrift store find. I was on a mission to find Easter items. Not many were there but did luck up with these two.
You did a great job reusing your finds, Terrie…that bunny is adorable now!
Thank you Linda, I was so happy to find the two Easter items. When I saw the bunny I thought he would look so cute painted. He is adorable. Thanks for stopping by.
Terrie, I love what you have done with your finds! You are always able to transform your finds to amazing treasures! Loving that sweet bunny planter so much!!!
