Hello and welcome to Decorate and More with Tip. Today I am sharing how you can make a cute Easter egg stem to add to a floral arrangement. It’s a cute little DIY made from Dollar Tree items.
I have been working on Easter decorations in our home, so I am sharing my tips and ideas on how you can do it on a budget. If you want to view all my Easter DIY blogs you can go view them all here EASTER.

The items I am using for this DIY are
- 1 package of Dollar Tree mini Easter Eggs
- an old floral stem
I removed the flowers and leaves from the stem I used on another DIY project. If you have followed me for long you know I do not throw anything away if I think I could use it for another DIY. If you don’t have an empty stem, you can purchase an inexpensive bundle of flowers and remove everything off the stems and use that.
This is so simple, at first I wasn’t going to share this DIY, but then I thought it was too cute not too. 🙂 So here is how I made a cute little Easter egg stem.
I hot glued mini eggs to both stems. I staggered the eggs.
I am placing the Easter egg stem in a small arrangement on my coffee table so one stem will be plenty for what I need. Wouldn’t this be cute to do several stems and use it just by itself?
In keeping with the color scheme of my Easter décor in our family room I am going to paint the eggs.
I added some brown specks to the eggs. If you want to catch my tutorial on how I speckle my eggs you can go look to the tutorial here SPECKLED EGG TUTORIAL.
Since I have the paint out I am going to paint a couple more stems I am going to place in the arrangement. I removed these from a Thrift store grapevine wreath. I used the grapevine wreath but stored these picks away. They will work perfectly in my arrangement.
I am going to use the Dollar Tree Dogwood blooms for the flower part of my arrangement.
I arranged the items same way as I always do. I secured them together with floral tape.
On my Facebook page today I share how I am styling my coffee table for Easter. Scroll down my feed until you come to EASTER COFFEE TABLE.
I hope you enjoyed this fun simple Dollar Tree Easter DIY.
