Hello and welcome back! If you are coming over from Laura at Decor To Adore wasn’t her centerpiece so cute? Amazing how she used old fencing to create her planter. Love all the greenery she used along with the moss. So inspiring!
I am so excited to share another Pinterest Challenge with you today, the challenge is hosted by Cindy over from Country Road 407. Are you ready for some Easter inspiration? Today, I am joining 16 talented bloggers in a Pinterest Inspiration Challenge. We took one Pinterest post to recreate and to give it our own style. I linked all of my friend’s blogs at the end of my page. I hope you enjoy and get inspired.

Like many of us, we go to Pinterest, Instagram or other places to get inspired. They are all great places to motivate us, but we shouldn’t just pin or save them, but to act on the idea. So we decided to share with you how we created a Pinterest post. 🙂
Isn’t the centerpiece on her table a beautiful inspirational post? It was created by Lisa @ASimplyStyledNest (for my Instagram followers) or @ASimplyStyledNest (for my Pinterest followers). ↵[click on her name to visit her accounts] It is such a beautiful Easter centerpiece.
Here is my take on the Pinterest Easter Centerpiece.

I have a dough bowl I could used like Lisa has in the inspirational centerpiece, but I decided to create a planter that you could make for yourself. It is very easy.
Here are the items I used.
- A scrap piece of board (16″ x 6″)
- 1 package of 36 clothespins from Dollar Tree
- hot glue gun and glue sticks (or E6000 glue)
- paint.
Let’s get started!
First what I did was paint the board. I painted it brown.
While that dried I took the clothes pins and separated the metal clip from the wood pins.
I wanted my pins to be pointed, I took a pair of scissors and trimmed each sides in a slant cut.
I spray painted my pins white.
Once the paint dried I hot glued the white pins to the painted board.
I added some glue to the bottom edge and glued to the edge all around the board.
To make the spaces evenly all the way around I used a pin for a space guide.
To make it look like a picket fence I took the remaining pins and cut the pointed edge off and glued it to the inside of the fence.
Now that I have my base for the centerpiece I will style it with my take on the inspirational picture.
I am going to use some moss and hot glue it randomly on the outside of my picket fence.
I am adding two Long Stem Glass Tealight Holders I purchased at Dollar Tree.
Adding the greenery.
I am using some faux fern bundles.
I just laid them to each side bending a little to shape the leaves in and over the fence.
Now adding pieces of faux boxwood to the planter.
Adding a wooden rabbit and some faux speckled eggs.
I added the blue ribbon around my rabbits neck.
Remember my little material carrots from last years 2018 Easter Tablescape.
I decided, after the fact, to add this Moss Sheet to the bottom of my centerpiece. I found the sheets at Dollar Tree. I purchased two packages.
My centerpiece is a little wider and longer than the two sheets so I cut the sheets in half.
I hot glued the pieces to the bottom and added shredded moss to the sheets where the two didn’t meet.
My shredded moss came with little pine cones.
I hot glued some moss all the way around the edge of the cut moss sheets.
I placed this on my Easter Table, I will be sharing with you soon.
